Even if all the seas of the world

Were ink for writing down

The sacred words of my Lord,

The seas would be emptied

Before the words of my Lord

Could ever be fully emptied,

Even if many more seas

Were brought as enhancement.

Even if all the knowledge of the world

Were as dew drops settling in the mind

As the sacred verses of my Lord,

The dew drops would dissipate

Before the sacred verses of my Lord

Could ever be fully dissipated,

Even if countless dew drops

Were brought in as reinforcement.

Even if the days and nights

Were markings of time

To measure the hours of my Lord,

The days and nights would be shut down

Before the hours of my Lord

Could ever be fully finished,

Even if more days and nights

Were brought in as supplement.

Even if dawns and twilights

Were dramatic happenings

To mark the stages of my Lord,

The dawns and twilights would fade away

Before the stages of my Lord

Could ever fully disappear,

Even if more dawns and twilights

Were brought as replenishment.

Even if the sands of the desert

Represented seconds and minutes

To fill the days of my Lord,

The seconds and minutes would tick away

Before the eternity of my Lord

Could ever give its forever away,

Even if more seconds and minutes

Were brought as replacement.

Even if the star galaxies of the universe

Were used as the light for illuminating

All the visionary signs of my Lord,

The star galaxies would be white dwarfs

Before the visionary signs of my lord

Could ever be destroyed,

Even if new star galaxies

Were brought as wonderment.
