-- Once the Dream Comes True -- John Herlihy I had a dream that burns, Right there in my heart. Oh, how my mind yearns, This dream never to depart. Once the dream comes true , The myth of the dream will erase. Like a dream that we never knew, No longer with a rightful place. We wait for a new dream to arrive, Beyond the horizon, there distant. Hope arising, with the will to survive, Ready to serve our needs, persistent. We tend to dream our futures. When they come true it's wonderful. Use a lot in this poem about how dreams affect us.

Dreams fulfilled are a blessing. Dreams still alive in us, and waiting for fulfillment, give us something to look forward to. But those dreams that have withered up and died are the most troublesome. A piece I relate to. Thanks. Peace... r
