I like the line “A wise heart/Sees beauty everywhere” and the lines make me feel you are that heart, John. This is a velvety piece of goodness. I hope the last two lines are true, for a cruel heart belongs nowhere near you. ~~ djl
It is interesting how one could substitute man or woman for the word, heart. In this case, using "heart" implies that it is someone that feels deeply from the core of one's being. Where the soul is supposed to reside, not in the brain, but in the heart.
Perhaps you did know a cruel heart, for to know the loving heart, one needs to know the opposite. Yet, the words ring true and are consistent with my identifying with them, as a learned Tao lesson proffers.
