Hiding but wanting to be found
Lonely when everyone around
Hopeful but in threat of despair
In solitude I seek advice in prayer
Still here but wishing to be missed
Still single but needing to be kissed
Certain but with a lingering doubt
Smiling that can turn into a pout
Questioning, seeking to be smart
Sorrowful whenever you depart
Being made fun of leaves me hurt
At times you are friendly, then curt
What we want not what we need
Advice given we don’t always heed
Time steals our thoughts of eternity
Facts destroy any sense of mystery
Night is dark, but the morning near
Sometimes blind, but my eyes clear

In my teaching and directing years, many a time I gave suggestive words to my actors that they spent far too little time discovering what would reward them most, advising that until they are fully nourished with what they need, the wants will continue to be a nemesis as it is an itch that is never resolved, satisfied, or understood.
Perhaps if more of humankind could read and absorb your words of wisdom, we just might avoid more bottom-feeders ruling the world.
As for "Facts destroy any sense of mystery," it is well-known that while facts do often end thousands of years of inquiry trying to find out, they often reveal more mystery beyond. A true opposite in this case is… The more we know, the less we know.
