-- The Veil and the Mirror -- by John Herlihy You are the veil With eyes that cannot see To read the tale Still bounded, not yet free Invited to dance In the wind as a floating leaf This world but a trance Cruel, challenging, and brief You are the mirror Revealing visions that shimmer Our hearts quiver As this world grows dimmer Loving in the dance between worlds Gazing in the mirror, the veil unfurls - - - - - Copyright © John Herlihy Wednesday 18 September 2024

INDEED, WE NOW GAZE THROUGH A MIRROR, SEEING DARKLY...BUT WITHOUT QUESTION, AS YOU SAY...THE VEIL IS SLOWLY UNFURLING. EXCELLENT! LOVE, BLESSINGS AND FAITH..HIS+INSPIRATIONS.

There is insight in your words, John. Transformation is a process, as is redemption. �And we, who with unveiled faces all reflect the Lord�s glory, are being transformed into His likeness, with ever increasing glory, which comes from the Lord, who is the Spirit.� �For now we see in a mirror dimly, but then face to face. Impactful use of the synonyms here, urging the reader to let down his or her own veil and accept existence as it is, another preamble to yet further existence unfurling, indeed. Well-designed message.
