-- Behold the Creation -- by John Herlihy What a sublime sensation Behold this divine creation Once there was nothing Then there was something Time’s arrow aimed sure The heart of creation pure The breath in its chest The spirit in its breast We wonder at its strange power We marvel at the passing hour The earth on its course Such movement, such force Light out of darkness Created with such finesse Day created out of night God said: Let there be light - - - - - Copyright © John Herlihy Sunday 13 October 2024
