Those who refuse to admit to their faults and expect someone to take the blame is abuse. Better to admit to a mistake and not use excuses, makes one a much better person.

Good advice in a poem. Why is it that so many have such little self-esteem that they can't take the rap and have to come up with some lame excuse when they make a mistake?

During my working life, and even after, I always went after the big moves. Often where others failed to tread. And I made mistakes, big mistakes. But as soon as I learned that I made those mistakes, I would get busy and correct them if I could. If not, it was easy for me to say I'm sorry and sleep at night.
