-- The Order of Things --

I put my trust in the order of things,

Individual steps of destiny life brings.

Out of eternity into moments of time,

Born into the life that I claim as mine.

The earth on its axis, leaning to the sun,

The star galaxies swirl, from light spun.

Life’s course an arrow with me as bow,

Mind filled with light, the body shadow.

While somewhere within, soul ground,

My seed planted, my growth profound.

Mystery lies everywhere, my mind to fill,

While the heart beats steadily and still.

This mystery of life uncertainty brings,

So I put my trust in the order of things.

We are a product of the orderly march of the universe. Beautifully expressed. And that's a lovely depiction of the planets all in a row with their relative sizes but not relative spacing, putting them off the page quickly if not reduced to equal distance.

Far too little is said in today's dialogue about your subject "the order of things." We seem to have evolved into the opposite vibration of chaos and are close to losing any form of "order" in our conscciousness. I would welcome more expressing their personal sense of order, even if it is with little action to day, given we are suffocating beneath chaos. Well written, John, and a worthy reminder of what is missing all around us in realizing it can be better, it can be back to an orderly envirnment, if we put our minds and actions to it.

You Look FatCalgary by RickthePoetWarrior
