The Circle of Time and Truth

The circle of time forward unrolls,
The circle of truth forever unfolds.
In mutual embrace, they intertwine,
Forever on their trajectory sublime.
When tomorrow arrives,
It is no longer tomorrow.
There it stands as the present,
The day itself feels on borrow.
The present no longer present,
When it takes its leave.
Gone, swish, totally absent,
The moment there to deceive.
When the present departs,
The past takes up the reins.
Memory much meaning imparts,
Yet leaves behind indelible stains.
The circle of time forever beginning,
The circle of truth forever being.

Yes, the truth is always evolving as we humans have discovered the scientific method to verify what is true and what is not.
Unfortunately, the large majority of humankind suspects the truth in favor of relying on myth, mystery and even lies to support their worldview. Thereby, setting civilization and progress back into some of the more violent, yet remembered, heritage of our past with a fondness that is unwarranted.
