Another holiday has come and gone

And it’s been 13 years since you were taken from me

As I sat at the table looking around I wondered

I looked at the broken pieces of our family that is left

Pondering on how our holidays were in the past

The people have changed, the traditions have changed

Were you there?

Did I really feel your love all through the house

Were you able to be with me, us and possibly visiting other Friends and family as well?

My heart still aching and wondering
