After Doubt

In the Wilderness of doubt

I  walked, then saw a light

Shining in the distance

I could tell it was quite bright

I kept looking forward

Focussed on that point ahead

I wondered if it would lead me

Away from all that dread

The Wilderness was strange

Full of  questions, really bleak

Could I , would I, did I have

What answers should I seek

‘All you need is within you

For help, look not outside

Experience will guide you

There the future will reside’

Now I have left , my mind

Still puzzled, is quite clear

I must do what I can do

Doubts will not interfere

Forward is the direction

Little by little , day by day

The light is getting nearer

I think I’ve found the way.
