Perpetual Heart

As the years of time dulls the senses

and ages the life that God has given

Never will it leave me guessing, knowing what the future holds

Faithfully I cherish the truth that has been spoken

as I listen intensly to loves enchanting phrase

Holding dear the words that speaks

everlasting content

That leaves me spellbound by the

poignancy that they entail

Lovingly it's generous spirit caressess my soul

defining the true meaning of love

Expressing it's depth of emotion as I

hear love say to me

Always, Now and Forever

Even when the passage of time love will remain true

and unwavering

Not like the heart that beats unfaithfully

but to the ryhthm that never loses it's pace

Strong and Unyielding to temptation

never ceasing from doubt or withholding it's goodness

that abounds like an overflowing stream

In a whisper so softly spoken that glides

gently through the air like an embodied soul

It reaches me and makes me weak from the

power that it emits

Overtaking me rendering me speechless but

unafraid realizing Love is never ending
