Just noticed I was the oldest one at the grocery store, and dinged out.

Without older women

Who would write the best cookbooks,

Who would give brats the dirty looks?

Who would block aisles at the grocery store,

Giving you time to reflect some more?

Without older women, all would be rookies,

Who could bake those awesome cookies?

Who would make that sugary tea,

Gosh, who would be Grandmother to me?

Who would expect the best parking space,

And if I took it, put me in my place?

Who would keep me on my toes,

Telling me everything that I do, she knows?

Ok, now I feel better about getting so old,

And know my importance in this position I hold.

I like that your poetry poses good questions and then strives to provide some good answers. M.True

You are so clippy! I would enjoy meeting you if you were really old, but by the time you get there, I will be in heaven.
I read two, loved two. The other was the dog poo one, a very current topic in our house since we got Lacey a couple months ago. However, she was not your culprit because she is confined to our property!

Now you've made me laugh and I can sign off with a cheery heart!

Hah! In my case older women have a hard time catching up with me. I'm older most of the time.

Lark, Who looks better with each year that passes-
Finding younger men more attractive-
Is more confident every day-
Her sexuality, what can I say-

From an older woman, Enjoyed!

Always,

Deborah

I always stopped to see my aunts and great aunts whenever I could, because they always invited me in for coffee and cookies that I enjoyed while we chatted about family. They always seem to have so much time. I don't think that is the case anymore with the Internet and all the complications in life. My mother complains to me about not having enough time for all the daily things in her routine. She is given up many of the leisure activities she and my father engaged in during their retirement.

Yes, we're all getting older, and, there is a time we need to stop driving like the woman in the picture. Let us hope we do it at the right time.

I'm not giving up sex until 10 min. after I'm dead, though. ;-)

That's the way to go girl! You are just getting better with time.
It's like fine wine that has age but oh it is so good!
Without older women where would all the wisdom the young know
come from? It is they, who keep the ball rolling. (smile)
