a place of divine love,
nobility,
and freedom.
Reaching farther and farther
I run for home
yet my guides stop me
gently, yet firmly they scold.
"Let me come home" I plead.
They smile and shake their heads no.
"Go back with the others sweet daughter.
We will come for you all very soon."
A gentle wind pulls me back
pulls me down
then I shiver from the cold.
I reach for my covers
someone pulls them up over me.
I know it is my guides.
I smile and return to my dreams
in sweet slumber
of friends and family
gone before me,
of friends and family
here with me
dreaming of home...
