Pausing where a visage still walks
in muted corridor
lost in the quiet of eternity’s talk.
Moving past poses, fragments of lives,
brilliances in sepia -
the ghost of memory survives.
Viewing a distant world -
interlude in colorless ether
from which we’ve been hurled.
Witnessing images in ageless space
a deeper parallax
blesses life’s pace.
Lingering with muted clock
as in a dream -
lost in the silence of eternity’s tock.
