What Is She Good For?
By Handsum-Hart

What good is her big vocabulary
If she won't use it
In a big way
To tell him, how wonderful it is
Having him as her lover

What good are her math skills
If she won't use them
To count the number of times
His heart beats for her
When they are making love

What good is her thinking
If she won't use it
To think about him
In heavenly ways
That pleases God

What good is her heartwarming love
If she won't use it
To thaw out his heart
When it is frozen with sadness

What good is her boldness
If she won't use it
To break rank with tradition
And ask him, for his hand,
Heart and soul in marriage

Why did she enter into his life
If she wasn't going to use
Her all to love him

Very good questions Ron, but questions I don't think any of us has the answer to.

May the Lord Jesus bless you, and those whom you love, and be with you always, and at your side constantly. With much love in my heart, joy to the world, peace on earth, & ((((((((((MANY WONDERFUL SISTERLY HUGGGGSSSS)))))))))), your little sister, Barbie

Hmm, cool poem. I wonder the same things about men, especially since they're taught to be the aggressor. Coy men are a pain in the rear.

Ah, interesting and thought-provoking Ron, I feel the pain in this excellent poem,

I agree with Eileen on this write. Love is a two way street or it ends up in a dead end.

Okay this was good Handsum....but what's the use if he does not listen or give her a change to say or do anything when needed...but just "you know what" and when the "pot" is empty the upper lit opens in excuses and abuses....the fire goes out and the music stop!!

A radio needs power to operate...but with flat battries aswell..mission impossible...!!

Hey and now another answer.....now tell me WHAT IS HE GOOD FOR???

A good for nothing I say...and it take two to tango...or do the junglejive right??

Okay lets twist...yu and I..hehehehe!!

You are way too clever for ya boots loverboy!!

My mother slipped in my bathtub, doing something for me. My Dad quipped, "Now she'll be good for nothing!" Second in her high school class to a male captain of industry, she did menial work all her life and kept the best house any kid ever had. All because she fell for him at 17 and had twins.

For the past three years pnemmnia and his heart have left him, good for nothing. She carries on.

Insightful write, Ron

This is excellent writing, Ron and you pose a very good question. We must give our all to love or love will eludeus. It is just a matter of time.
Take care,
