Windblown leaves in the heart of a forest
singing the glory of an Autumnal day
the crisp golden colors of her sweet array
make me want to bathe in her light
and dance in the meadows of her dream
As I cling to the earthen browns of an eve
I watch the sun give in to her sleep
she softly descends from a fading hill
with a yawning caress and a bless !
Magic moments of grandeur and awe
like the chirp of a stranded pardalote
a minty moment of life, oh mine eyes,
soaked to the cotton with shine
my lips give praise of her time
Windblown leaves turning and turning
dressed in the colors of a fire burning
I dance in the fortress of her season
lost in the alchemy of her reason
Autumn, I love YOU the best.
Yes, beautiful autum in nearly upon us . . . And then winter, my most hated season. And yes, I understand that winter is valuable to our ways of life. I still hate it. I never seem to don enough clothes to keep out the frigid temputure.
Yes, autumn as I remember it. We have a semblance of it here. Hummingbirds are passing through and I can see them on the apricot tree because the leaves have fallen leaving bare branches for the hummingbirds to find good viewing perches.
Some interesting phraseology here. "The chirp of a stranded pardalote" Peep wrens. Don't have those here. "a minty moment of life" and my fav: "Alchemy of her reason" Enjoyed this. Peace... r
MYSTIC THIS IS INDEED A RAPTUROUS WORK,INDEED. AND, THOUGH I DO AGREE THAT EACH SEASON HAS IT'S UNIQUE BEAUTEOUS ENTICEMENTS THAT LEADS US TO FAVOR ONE OVER THE OTHER, I HAVEN'T SETTLED ON ONE YET. THOUGH I'M AN AUTUMN BABY, I HAVE FOUND THAT I LOVE AND NEED THEM ALL AND, THANK GOD, HE SENDS THEM AT JUST THE RIGHT TIME. LOVED IT! LOVE, BLESSINGS AND FAITH...JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS.
