I hold your pillow tight and wonder where you are
perhaps the moon has borrowed you for light
Yesterday is here showing me your sepia smile
and like a glitter star you fill my lonely night
LONELINESS IS SAD, YES...BUT IT IS ALSO BEAUTIFUL, THAT IS, WHEN LIT BY A...SEPIA STAR. LOVELY PIECE, ENJOYED. THANKS FOR SHARING. LOVE, BLESSINGS AND FAITH...JOYCE * HIS INSPIRATIONS
sepia is a lovely shade and the word itself
is entrancing - especially to the young artist
learning his colours ... umber, vermilion,
chrome yellow, sepia, sienna
No one else seems to comment on sepia. Because sepia is a very old photographic process it isn't common anymore. So you see need to be writing about some rather ancient image that you miss. Perhaps it is an nostalgic piece, wishing for living in the time over 100 years ago, like living in the Victorian era, so romanticized.
My mother passed in 1998. 20 years now. I miss her regularly. She was one of my major artistic influences growing up. She was a gifted vocalist. I continue to pursue my gifts in-part because of the disciplines she instilled in me. Lovely tender thoughts here, Vienna. Peace... r
Your emotion in this poem shows you must have been missing your mom. This poem speaks to me immensely. I still have my hubby's pillows next to me on my bed, and I usually hug his big pillow when I sleep.
One day last week I was talking with my hubby immensely in front of his photo before I went to sleep, by next morning when I woke up his small pillow was overlapping mine at the corner (this has never happened before after he passed away) and I just knew it was him placing his pillow on top of mine trying to sleep close to me to comfort me as he had always done when he was alive. He came to see me and comfort me after I spoke with him the night before.
