Purple and orange rainbow Flowers beneath my feet Fairies are flying Flowers in my hair Breathing the fresh air Growing long hair This time I'm flying solo Opening up a treat Sandals goodbye-ing An old trusty pair Worn from so much wear Miss them I swear Rainbow just added yellow Sunshine rain soft and sweet Smiling and sighing Not even a care Found treasure somewhere Pot-o-gold fair Jane Noponen Perinacci

Once a flower girl, always a flower girl. And oh, how I love, a flower girl� Especially when she throws off those sandals and dances barefoot in the sun with it bringing out the highlights in her golden hair.

There is a feeling of rainbows, even in an old pair of sandals. I get it. I am loath to give up treasured items I often wear. I have been know to mother through a pair of shoes for ten years because I liked them so much. When I bought a new pair, it too me two summers and multiple malls to find a pair that I wanted to wear "for another ten years". May your pot of gold be forever. John
