That time of year is so close now Let's wrap the presents holy cow We just put up the tree last night Whole room glowed soft with light Occasional card finds its way Kind thoughts across the miles that say We wish a Merry Christmas to You and your jolly crew Carols sung in soft falling snow 'Neath street lamps giving their dim glow "Oh Silent Night" be with us all Let blessings on us fall Jane Noponen Perinacci ��

The melody Silent Night captures it all, as does your poem. The night is holy, but Christmas night (and Eve) most of all. John
