Midnight Lullaby

I'll play for U/

a lullaby/

of satin lace/

&/

velvet ties/

unfurled upon dark placid skies/

in brilliant red & violet lines/

let's taste the nuance of their hue/

a smooth elixer sweet like chartreuse/

then wend upon an astral ride/

where castles peak above the clouds/

Beloved, come & take ur ease/ 

come, close ur eyes & be at peace/

I'll play for U/

a lullaby/

of satin lace/
& velvet ties
