Further Conversations with the Id of Ed

As usual lost in my own "id", no road map, no street signs, just flowing thought...so benign

Further Conversations with the “Id” of Ed…


 


As if is necessary, an explanation of the name above,


Is not something you hereby need, it fits like that of a glove,


The end all of my short life, the reason for my being,


We, all of us find a need, to do an honorary deed, as if we are seeing…


 


Find it necessary; we do, to be who we are, to see who we have been,


To go on with life for the rest of the world, does expect us too,


Life as we know it, no peace, no safety, no beliefs, no morning piece,


We expect as we grow to know all that is necessary, to be the adult,


But there are those younger, knowing of more than we,


For they have that ability to further than we, see…


 


Does any of this make any sense; does it make a meaning towards the end all subject?


Am I herein drowning in my own juices of blood and water?


Slipping under the surface of insanity and lack of a brain,


What does any of this mean, if known explain it to me, as I have lost all sense,


I’ve lost all my screams, to the walls of insulation within, absorbed non-sensically,


Into the fiberboard of life, seemingly I live in a hive, but it is really a cocoon,


A cocoon of my own building, wherein I can find a slice of a permanent life…

Interesting questions
Isn't a "Permanent life" an oxymoron? Life, by definition, is not permanent. Still, we live in hope!

I'm looking up there at that multicolored brain and thinking, "This is your brain. This is your brain on drugs." Out of a cocoon comes a beautiful butterfly. P.S. I wasn't thinking of your brain-I was thinking of that commercial with the fried eggs.
