Justification for Higher Education…

To school we should go, to achieve a higher state,

Or to make more money to put food on our plate,

No more does school use that of a piece of slate,

We are all hereby told to use our brains, or leave through the gate…

Not exactly my idea of a place to live, in the picture attached, I did give,

But still it shows where it is we can go, or if we pan gold through a sieve,

Selling drugs can get us there as well; by way of state prison, we would then live,

But not to be too stupid I herein state, drugs & gold are but the wrong way to go…

Better to achieve our higher state of mind,

Through that of education, it however does take some time,

Or through that of meditation, we can learn all that we need,

About the self, the “id”, through these lessons there is no need to bleed…

We all find our own true paths, be they right or wrong, they too can take long,

But it is better I think, to find the trail, to that of the self,

Once found within, we can truly go onto greater times, over hill & over dale…
