Philosophy/Humor/who knows what, just a write about a lot of rot...

Poem Artwork

                     WHY?

When I get up with plans to work,

To do some cleaning, to smooth the dirt,

To fix this or that, to lose some weight, to not feel fat,

To make our home feel safer and softer,

To wash the car, to go to the beach to walk the sandbar,

To brush Rufuz and alleviate some of the fuzz,

To take the dog on long private walks,

All this I plan to do, they all seem like so much just talks…

                     WHY?

Here I sit, openly talking about farts and smooches,

Here I sit, speaking of the past & all of my pooches,

Here I sit, talking to the self, and my lil’ writers elf,

I plan on eating, eggs bought for an omelet with cheese,

Plans to clean my dishes, oh yes, says Rufuz do so please,

Plans to go to rent a movie, plans to clean up the bike I found,

Rusted handlebars, and rims, but I will eventually have a bike to get round…

                     WHY?

So my question to you is why do I make all these plans, if I really have no clue,

I know for sure, in the end of it all, I will do nothing of them, cept’ talk to you,

So how do I get past this computer, in the morning, it is the first thing on,

And in the night it is the last thing I turn off, used to be the TV, still a screen,

Exercise is what I really need; maybe I should just sell the TV & computer,

And go out and buy some equipment of some kind or another, like maybe a trampoline…

                     But then again WHY?

Don't despair, Ed, Smoochy Man will be making an east coast appearance soon! I heard he might even be taking his pet gila monster on the road, too, and several of his cats.
