Well I'm SO relieved to know that Rufuz is more comfortable....and I'm inclined to agree with Mr. Kostro here - being in the all-together does indeed seem to be the best way to get around the pesky critters - perhaps I'll give it a go too!! You know here in Florida we get all kinds of lovely insects...though we don't like to scare our tourists so we call them Palmetto Bugs.....i.e., cockroaches!! LOL

Gosh, I really did miss reading your writes my friend, it's good to be back home. :)

Living in Texas with sand fleas I've been thinking of tying dog flea collars around my ankles *grin* This is a great write, and too true *scratch scratch*

Or you could move to the North. NO flea's here :-) It's one of the advantages of the cooler weather.

aw come on, wouldn't you gladly take the fleas and ticks so rufus can be comfie? i wonder why they don't make that medicine for people, the pests would just pack up and leave when they get near you...wouldn't it be great

Oh ha ha! Funny, yet not so funny, Ed.
Here in Wisconsin, it is the woodticks. Seems once you
get one on you...you are sure that everytime you feel an
itch it is from "another of those devils."

Hehehehe...lolAt EdK!!

Ticks are bad for me..I itch for months after on bite....fleas I can still handle..it leaves a red spot but no after effects...almost like the men in my life....lol!!

Hahaha...some are like ticks and some are like fleas...but most of them are my friends....right!!

You are a good man, Ed, and a wonderful friend to Rufuz.

And now, it's perfectly clear to me why you sit around in your home nude. You are gallantly drawing the ticks and fleas to your hide instead of to Rufuz's. I commend you, Sir, and I am going to use this epic tale to convince my lovely spouse - that I need to go through life naked, too - it's just the right thing to do for our pets.
