Life is a card game, sometimes you win, most often you lose...

Poem Artwork

To play Solitaire is to learn to accept Life…

It was not meant to be, I say that a lot to myself, yes me,

The game of solitaire shows, unless you cheat, what is meant to be,

The game in itself, a boring past time, but something to do,

Shows how it is to accept life as it is, to accept that we don’t always win,

To accept that life can suck, as well as it can be very happy & without sin…

To accept life is to live life with all perfection, or as best we can,

To enjoy our friends, to love them and others, to show our best sides,

To love animals, to treat them with respect, as for Rufuz, to take him for rides,

Life is love, its been said before, you too can find it, just open the door…

The philosophy of life is to learn from our mistakes,

Not to take them with us to our next plain of existence,

To allow for others mistakes along the way, after all they are only learning too,

Each lesson we learn puts us one step closer to a perfected enlightenment,

I am not here to be or even to become a supreme being, only to represent,

I am here at least to the inevitable extent, for past wrongs to repent,

I realize that life can be a hell as well, yes a burning torment,

But I am satisfied with the road I have taken, my younger mistakes have I circumvent…

Need do we all to enjoy where life is taking us,

Need we do to follow that long hard road to enlightenment and next life pleasure…

For everyone there's a path, curvy, weedy, surprising, peaceful and sometimes in need of moving through the weeds... always an adventure. I regret nothing, it's a waste of energy and I can't change the past... I do believe we get smarter every single day of life. You're intropective piece is one that will linger... lovely! smile.... katy xox.
