What Makes Philosophical Thought?

I write for my own pleasure,

I do so when I can, yes in my leisure,

I seem to have more thoughts of late,

I seem to write more of something you can relate,

Or maybe it would be better if you just did retaliate…

Do I make myself clear herein?

Or is the subject matter too obtuse?

Am I herein lacking intellectual acuity?

Or should I end here with a sharp point, or actuate…?

Philosophy to me, the study of human souls,

Through the use of their brains, they try to achieve goals,

Sometimes they win; the ball goes through the poles,

Sometimes however they lose, things put into holes,

Better to examine philosophy with the use of the Dead Sea scrolls…
