Please…(a note to the gods or anyone that can help)

Please God or Santa Claus, or the Easter bunny or tooth fairy,

Whoever it does take to end it now, no more, it’s getting too scary,

I do pray to you dear Mother Mary,

What can you do to end this blight on our sight, before we do more, bury…

Please Buddha, Allah, and the saints of Christian beliefs,

Whatever can you do, please do so, talk to your chiefs,

If it must be made to be quite brief,

Then do so but please find us here, and put an end to our grief…

Please to the gods of Olympus or better yet oh mighty Thor,

Use your power to end it for good, I do so strongly implore,

We are your servants, your peasants and minions,

We do request this in your names; we do invoke the gods of yore…

We ask but one thing, simple though it may not be,

We do ask to put an end to the world wide strife they do call WAR,

It has become much more than just the proverbial bore,

We do beseech thee all to with a wave of your arms end this thing,

Please do make it go away, never to return, never to again darken our earthly shore…
