...to be blank may not mean to be empty...

Poem Artwork

…blank be the page…

written on a blank page of white

no hint of why it may be out of sight

the screen does my eyes blind by the light

no lack of paper on this end, no blight…

this page it should be blank

this page instead is filled with words quite frank

no this is nothing like a childish prank

if it were such I would allow you to me spank…

no idea what herein to say to the reader

something of a philosophical nature I would as a leader

instead I am on the road of life doing so as a speeder

hopefully I do not have an accident and run into a tree made of cedar…

blank is my mind, as is this page or so it does seem,

which direction does this write go and what is the theme

I know with writes like these you do for me lose all esteem

but I’ve still no clue as to the direction my thoughts do go

that is in this particularly boring of thoughts, stream…?

You better slow down then; that Jeep of yours could never handle running into a cedar; now, an Explorer on the other hand...
