Hindsight versus Insight… I have perfected hindsight, Things I have done that I cannot change, Are perfectly well seen even without light, Some things I have done I really wish I could exchange… Observing the self, With insight I see very little, This inability has unfortunately made me quite brittle, Even for myself I have found I can only but belittle, When I try to observe inside, I shiver and shake, I get all nervous and anxious and from my lips flows spittle… Hindsight on the other hand, I do for the most part understand, But why must I see how bad I can be, After the fact, can I not get in touch prior? I mean isn’t that what being mature supposedly does inspire …? © ed ` 6/22/05

Now then, Eddie M... looking back is a way to learn, but live in the "Now"... it's there you have control over your destiny.

When you 'self-observe' I am rapt. You are so very good at speaking from your insides, while writing so that universal truths are there for a reader to recognize. (lovely picture... hehe)
