Dogs are people too…by Rufuz

Dad & I did go to the beach,

I was not allowed to there reach,

No dogs between May and September allowed there,

I got to say I find that to be totally unfair…

All I want to do is chase a seagull or two,

They do poop all over the pristine shore too,

If I go down in the middle of the night no one will me see,

Then I can romp and play and chase daddy into the sea…

I see the people treating the shore worse than any canine,

Though people do treat us on the beach like swine,

We still treat them nicely, they are the ones that cross the line,

Sometimes I wish I could with human contact resign,

So I guess for a few months I will have to miss my beach,

Afterwards though I will on the beach squat and leave a large steamy shrine…
