Items that coruscate with resplendence are not all diamonds

Poem Artwork

We all shine but are not all diamonds,

We all are fine even in the rough,

Of each other we find we cannot get enough,

Herein I speak with the inability to bluff…

A ruby is red, the color of blood,

Blood is thicker than water,

But love is thicker than blood,

A red rose starts life as a bud…

Emeralds also do shine,

The color of green the lord did of Ireland assign,

Our lives do with each other intertwine,

This poem and such just of Gods design…

Take a rough diamond, and refine it after a period of time, what is the end result, a beautiful shining floorless gem.

You my friend are being refined to that floorless gem.
This is an incredible write.

One doesn't need to be a diamond to shine. Ed, this poem is so true. We are all unique, and we all shine in our own special way, even in the rough we shine.

A well-written inspiring piece.

We all are fine even in the rough,

And this is another fine philosophical post, my friend.

Ed. Love your theology here.
To become a diamond we need to be roughed up..Then we sparkle or die. Depending on ones outlook..

Ed my friend, your words begin to shine as the diamond. As I feel all things good come from God. Well done sir.

Future: The Spiritual Story of Humanity by Glenn Martin

Histories of the world are generally written to either celebrate technology and science, or to herald doom. My book examines the path of the spirit in the onward rush.
