Poem Artwork

Playing the name game are we,

Can’t see the roses for the tree,

Life is just a puddle in the grand scheme,

Time does need to traverse it an engine of steam…

Last life I was part and parcel of a pond,

Hopefully that pond with the name Walden,

Maybe a fish I was that nourished Thoreau,

Or a leaf I had become a poem of Nature…

My next life will I be a rose,

To give beauty to those,

For the most beautiful they chose,

My petals carry the scent of the gardeners clothes…

My Dear Friend,

If only you knew that indeed you are a rose already and your petals of friendship bloom magnificently.

Peace,

~Rose~

Perhaps you were a branch
Eaten by a Koala
Or an icky slug
Living in Walla-Walla
Whatever you were
I think it is nice to suppose
That in your next life
You'll come back as a rose.

Cute poem, Ed!!
Take care,
Sherry

Very in touch with your feminine side! I like it. I hope Rufuz comes back as the gardner and not the waterer!

Transcendental Sojourn-Arrival to One Journal by Liz Cosline

Explains the realizations that have given the author the views of living life fully. The life each person dreams about. You must take a look at yourself before dreams can be reached. Deciding what is the core of belief.
