A day it’s been,

Without writing, ain’t it a sin,

Nothing to mind did come,

Except for a sinus headache keeping me glum…

Written naught,

Pain making me distraught,

More than my share of snot,

My nasal passages did fought…

No train did I have today of thought,

Only to whine and cry of my life’s lot,

Long hours of sleep did I enjoy,

The neighbors a bit loud,

Today they did of me annoy…

But oh to feel better now,

Rufuz did awaken me cause of a thunderous row,

He does dislike storms, wanting to lay next to dad,

I cannot blame him, it is as well comfortable for me,

So him in my bed I do allow…

Poor guy, that does not sound like a lot of fun. Just keep on cuddling up with sleepy old Rufuz, hope you'll feel better!

Rufuz does not look like he likes to be awakened LOL. Hope you feel better soon, give into all the sleep the virus asks for and drink lots of liquid......and I do mean water, juice and so on, no fun but your health will return.

This picture of RUFUZ inspired this poem...Rufie & Edity this is for you...okay!!

"Pastel Care"

Oh my name is RUFUZ
Oh and I sleep in style
On my daddy’s bed and smile
A bed covered in colors of pastel
A place so gentle to be
It caresses my furry skin you see
I am my daddy’s only “next of kin”
And what ever I might inherit
Would be a sin
Like the flea on my skin
I would love to share it
With all my heart in it
But most definitely not
With another bard
Or anybody else with a greenish fart
I may be a big dog now
But only the love of my daddy allow me
To relax on his pastel bed and fart like him
Oh yes so by the way
His name is Ed
That sounds very much like bed
But when I get mad at him
Or my mommy
On those days when mommy share his bed
When they kick me out
I feel like howling it out loud
And say
GET OUT OF THAT BED ED
You’ve got a DOG to fed
