Rufuz Rights…by Rufuz (who else?)
You have the right to be loved,
As much as you give to dad, it fits like a glove…
You have the right to be loyal,
Treated you should most royal…
You have the right to be pampered,
Without in anyway should you be hampered…
You have the right to play,
That’s right, just as you have taught dad the way…
You have the right to be cute,
For that we give you a salute…
You have the right to wag your tail,
I do it a lot without fail…
You have the right to have your tummy rubbed,
My name is Rufuz but by daddy Muppy I have been dubbed…
You have the right to sleep in dads bed,
There you will smell your dad on the spread…
You have the responsibility to protect your home,
While your dad is out in the world doing his job that makes him roam…
You have the right to have your back scratched,
By Dads two hands, both are so well matched…
You have the right to be a dog,
For that is your God given right,
Here I will stop, so you don’t think me too trite…
