Poem Artwork

Arrow shot quite straight

Finds its mark through the heart,

Steel points penetrate skulls,

Brains on the ground,

On the battlefield no longer a sound…

Years of training,

Since childhood learning the fight,

Statistics, war & death,

No one wins nor do they lose…

Blind to the time,

Of death within rhyme,

The ladder to the gods we climb,

From the heavens the bells of death do chime…

did you know the ancient greeks didnot consider thh bow a proper weapon to kill a man with. bad form

the english massed arcchers who were able to launch 1 arrow every 5 to six seconds into a 6' circle 150 yds away. Overlap a thousand such circles a you have a whole new definition of killing zone.

I enjoyed your approach to this Ed. It carries with it a message that has a spiritual undercurrent… But for me…well I ain’t gonna study war no more.
