Life for me has been like others, tough,
Prison, living on the streets, rough,
Drugs, alcohol, loss of faith, enough,
A grouch I have been, quite regularly, gruff…
Picked on in school days,
Treated in many bad ways,
Did this all make me as I am today,
Does my humor hide the real me, no way…
Prescriptions to keep me mellow and alive,
Not able to do much but drive,
To my 52nd year I did finally arrive,
I may not at the moment thrive,
But all in all I did through life survive…

(((HUGS))) and love, Karla.
At least you're still flexible. :)
Just being here is 50% of the battle. Making it to 53 is the other 50%.
Love,

Love Tinka
That sounds trite in the light of what you have just shared, but believe me, it was my spontaneous reaction breathed out by relief for you.
