I awoke thus,

After a dream just,

Perching on a branch,

Quite carte blanche…

 

Then came the pain,

Spasms in my leg,

Was it real, or was I still dreaming,

Either way I felt I was expected to be screaming…

 

Such beauty was that dream,

I had found my niche,

Light was I, giddy like a kid,

Satisfied was an inside itch…

 

Then again the pain,

Was I not supposed to feel beauty,

Am I not allowed to feel love,

It came into my dream,

And told me to die, that being my only to the world, duty…
