Rufuz ain't young anymore, are ANY of us...?

After laying for too long, He gets up stiff but portrays strong, I worry after him what is wrong, Though still he does sing his doggy song… He gets his meds, The only time he feels it is when he gets out of bed, He ain’t as young as he used to be no more, He is still my puppy & will be forever to his core… Still though he wants to play, He sits when told, endeavors to stay, Trained well but still in pain, He goes to the doc next month come shine or rain… © ed ~ 12/16/06
