With my family I don’t speak,
To them I guess I am the black sheep,
Sometimes it bothers me, but my own bed I made,
Guess though my family does belong to their own little clique…
A short stint as a guest of the state of New Jersey,
An even shorter stint in the United States Navy,
As well so many drugs I’ve done, making me wavy,
Guess my family thinks of me pretty much as jerky…
If though it were up to me,
My family I would never see,
Only cousins do I anymore have,
Of them I have seen so little,
I feel better thinking I am related,
To my ocean, my sea…
