Poem Artwork

A week ago I twisted,

My hip & back resisted,

Pain & inability to sit persisted,

Its been almost a week,

And now I am feeling a bit better,

Felt like I’ve been restrained with fetters…

I fortunately had my cell phone on me,

I called a neighbor who came and assisted,

I got driven home in his truck, Rufuz alongside,

My back problem has with me pre-existed…

I’ve fortunately had doc prescribed pills,

From my last bout with back ills,

It seems also to occur once a year,

I now carry my metal cane in case,

I can’t explain what happened,

But walking alone I now seem to fear…

Ed,
I have empathy for you, my friend. I also suffer back problems so I know what you are going through. My thoughts and prayers are with you and Rufus.

Blessings,
~Linda

Ma claims your back goes out every time you pick on your brothers; you might want to be nicer to them; Ma knows everything!

Lil'brother I know wasn't Doc Bonnie prescribing those pills because no last rites where ordered from.
Take it easy, friction your hip with Coors as liniment (that beer is OK for hair, callous, intelligence and lever treatments, we, and eat you heart, have now Coors in Sweden! ! !)

Ouch that hurts, is no laughing matter this sacriligious thing, I've got a cane that does two things, it is hollow inside and the cane top comes off, it is a religious cane, used by the natives to smoke sweet grass, but if you're out of pills ordinary grass will do too, and one bit of advice try not to laugh, you could throw something else out of joint ha. Get better mate! Jasmin Horst

OW! I recently had a bout of the bad back myself; know exactly how you feel, Ed! I hope you are feeling a lot better; you are in my prayers! (The day I hurt my back, I had to use my crutches in the house, which is something I normally don't do; I couldn't hardly walk! It was awful, and sitting on the john was pure-t agony!) I am soooo glad that it's all behind me now (although sometimes in the morning, my back likes to remind me that it's there)! Nothin' that a little arthritis rub or Tylenol can't fix.... :)

(((HUGS))) and much love, your friend in Tx., Karen Lynn. :(
