This site needs a category specifically for insanity...e

Poem Artwork

There is NO figuring out insanity,

Tis just a part of man to mans inhumanity,

So keep safe within your Christianity,

And I will keep trudging along,

Living on the edge of sanity,

While shouting to the heavens in profanity…

Passed over for sanity was I,

Worse than old Captain Bligh,

Would I to you ever lie,

I’ve learned to live with this,

Don’t waste your tears,

Don’t for me ever cry…

Lunacy,

Noon at sea,

Swoon did she,

Moon we see,

Afternoon is PM 3,

Strewn is just so much debris,

Does anybody know just what the hell I herein decree…?

Trouble is, Ed, I think Jesus likes us nut cases better than the serious folk, the rule keepers with no feeling. You're obviously too much for that........Jerry

Why is it that we, Christians too sometimes, rage upward and not downward at the source of all evil? Just curious. Love the honesty of this piece.

Hi Ed, So keep safe within your Christianity,
And I will keep trudging along,
Living on the edge of sanity,
While shouting to the heavens in profanity…

Love it.. we should be so lucky to wave at windmills.... eh? (GRIN)

Ed,

You have me worried ... please take care of yourself. You are in my prayers!

Staying safe within my Christianity, but there are times I rage at the Heavens, too - believe me.

Somehow, I understand all of the above, but I am partial to the moon,
and to loons.

PS I think you're just crazy, not insane, Bro. And if we weren't all crazy, we'd all probably go insane. Now go write some more rhyming poems, Ma really likes them!
