I don't own this boat or any, but I enjoy the thought of just sitting on board and meditating...

Poem Artwork

At the end of the day,

After all are done with play,

When the sun has barely set,

On a boat I would my stresses let go you can bet…

Sitting in the cockpit, relaxing to tunes,

Watching the night sky, cruising the lagoons,

In sight of a few coastal dunes,

Listening to a pair of apparently lost loons…

The water lapping at the hull,

Sounds of the gulls retiring for the night,

The water cooler than the air,

A light jacket at this time rare…

Sipping a cup of green tea,

Enjoying life’s aloneness,

No other noisy boats to with compete,

A lighthouse in the distance & a fog horns moan,

Absolutely NO desire to watch the TV,

Only calmness & serenity pervade my thoughts,

But why in the middle of meditation do I have to always go pee…?

THAT ... IS PURE EVIL!

This is an excellent writing with so much laid back richness and a damned punchline from the bladder of hell - OMG! why did you have to do that! OH TEA! Shisk, I almost forgot about that ...

Hi Ed, it's called cleansing. When you're meditating, you're actually cleansing body and soul. Go with it... you'll feel better...

Sounds wonderful Bro - except, replace that cup of tea with a bottle of good beer - then, after you drink the beer - just pee into the empty beer bottle - saves lots of time while meditating. And hurry up and get that boat so you, me, and Edvard can cruise on down to the Keys.
