Thanks to all those that review my last, you made me see more than you know...Ed

Poem Artwork

When I don’t hear from Rene,

I have a dark & dismal day,

Even with a sunny & cloudless sky,

I just want to sit at home and cry…

Then in comes a message,

Maybe on email or the phone,

Just a non-regular thrown bone,

To keep me sane, to realize I may yet still have a home…

As well I receive from others here,

Written confirmation from a peer,

That I exist & can have no fear,

Written with love and caring,

To the world from that, my worth I would be declaring…

Indeed you are loved, my friend. It is wonderful that you are feeling better. Love, peace, and best wishes to you and to Rufuz,

Regis

Now keep these greaat thoughts on your "down-days (daze?)", Ed! Count all the blessings you DO have, and they will multiply! You've got the best buddy a fella could have...Rufuz!! Take care of him AND yourself, friend; and enjoy the memories of your trip.

Hi Ed, so glad your life has brightened. Sometimes all it takes is an encouraging word of like-minded people, friends and comrades to make us see, give us another perspective on things...if I had to live and rely on my own perspective, jeez, just can't imagine. Of course, the doctor told me that an enema would give me a new attitude, too! Hmph...

Bear

YEYEYEYEY!!!!!!! :)) xx So good to hear, EdBear (EdBear????? Where did THAT one come from??? I have no idea, but I kinda like... EdBear and Rufuz has a certain noble ring about it, don't you think?? Sorry... but these names of mine tend to stick once I've found them, so you better let me know if you don't like... names are just soooooooo important...)... Anyways, as I was sayin, just love that you have found your heart and soul restored in the camaraderie of like-minded souls... It may be very simplistic to say it, but it's demonstration of that sense of given-and-received love is what fills any pain-shaped hole, however caused and of whatever size. And I'd like to also put my hand up and say that although I am shamedly bad at walking through each and every Den here (or anything like!), I make careful note of everyone's words as they appear on each page and value EVERYONE who writes and inputs in this way, thus giving me substance, courage and support in finding my way through life's glorious mish-mash more than you will ever, ever know. Thank you ALL! :)) Us poetry pilgrims truly are a bonded little band of troubadours, covering each other's backs (and fronts!) on a daily basis, and no mistake... Your words from the heart have taken me to a Happy Place today, Ed. Bless you, Kate xx
