When storms do approach,
Rufuz does of dads space encroach,
He lays his head on my lap,
So I cover his ears from the thunder,
I tell him its his Auntie Karla sending them,
Not daddy’s but her blunder…;-)
I rub his head and his snout,
Kissing him & telling him its okay,
He lays his head back & grabs me with his paw,
To the world of my puppies love I must shout…
So after the storm does pass,
Not very long does it last,
He goes about his business without sass,
But let one rumble of thunder again start,
He’s back on my lap, before the sky can again fart…;-)
