It rained all day this day,

And last night & yesterday afternoon too,

Could that be the reason I am today in p-a-i-n,

My lower left rib is throbbing,

First I thought I just over ate,

Its happened before, from my happy life it is robbing...

So I took a pill, and it alleviated it just a bit,

But with so few pain pills left,

I hesitate to take more than one, you know the sh**,

So I need to go to bed and sleep,

Maybe from that sleep I will away from the pain reap...

It does come and go,

A pain that we all know,

Least ways the rain has stopped,

Still better than snow,

As in this area the snow totals have so far this year topped...
