Sorry to burden you with my whine...

But it does feel a little bit better to write about it and get it out...e

Poem Artwork

My mind is awash with trivial stresses,

No Pee-wee this has nothing to do with dresses,

So many times climbing back from the pit of depression,

Has enamored me to get used to successes…

Of late my mind has been blown,

Since my past years problems I find I have grown,

Still no one else can see unless given a chance,

Finding gainful employment is not easy,

Sorry to of this problem constantly bemoan…

In what way, with the economy, can one find help,

My pain involving lack of funds possibly bringing on eventual eviction,

Where would I go, what would I do, how to help myself,

Could be better, right now, to be back in jail,

But for that it would involve an actual conviction,

And I just cannot bring myself to of a crime commit…

Don't hear to PeeWee, next time you are down there in that pit I will throw you a shovel so you can keep on digging and go bother the Chinese at the other side!!! (LOL)

Things are certainly a mess
But far better than your previous duress
Your frustration is real
That we all feel
But to crime you should never confess

Hang in there!

Sorry that life is the school of hard knocks for you Ed -- particularly at the moment where it seems a constant parade of trying to keep your head above the many waters. What is shocking and saddening is that wonderful peeps such as yourself have to consider becoming CRIMINAL status in order to find the next meal, almost... or at least that's how this reads to me. THAT'S SHOCKING AND CRIMINAL IN ITSELF!! No one can tell you how to budget, but to me it seems as if you already have much of intrinsic worth in your life that money just CAN'T buy... days that have been redeemed from dreadful ill-health, now you are on the mend; and a space to live and air to breathe that is close to the freedoms and healing of the beach and sea. Plus the endless satisfaction of belonging HERE and of the fulfillment of being able to exercise your expressive skills. Such are relatively cheap in the scale of things and render you a free man! I sure don't mean to belittle your actual on-going fiscal worries, but perspective is what keeps us upwardly mobile and problem-solving. Stay free, Ed, and uphold your sense of identity and independence by knowing you are, bottom-line, A SURVIVOR!! And sure as hell stay clean!!!!!!!!!!!! :)) xx

My hubby will be 55 in June, and he hasn't been working for the past few years already. I'm the only one that works. We have to budget ourselves with a lot of things; but we are not depressed. No way we will ever let life bring us down again!

Hope you'll feel better soon.
