Compound morphologists are we…

Poem Artwork

As writers we use grammar to express,

Some like me may use it to do so in excess,

Others use it more so to speak with finesse…

So many do write with a flair,

Some like King & Koontz do of me scare,

We all write what we can & sometimes when we feel despair,

Some, like me, even write of what we will wear…

But by and large we all write what we feel,

We write of times past & glories we need not conceal,

We spoof on each other & play word games,

We find, I think, a certain kinship with each other,

I have even in the course of being here, found brothers…

(& sisters)

You can't go wrong in writing how you feel, for at least it's honest. I love expressive poetry that I can feel into it.
