It seems today not to drink,

Is a commendable trait,

As is not smoking cigarettes,

Or do I, as often, smoke weed,

Without a job & such I have enough on my plate…

Its as well commendable not to have,

Run in with the law, in my old age,

Not like I had when I was much younger,

No advice have I to give, so I am not really a sage…

So far I’ve come,

I’ve added up the sum,

My life is not too bad,

Others have less & more,

Then why do I live my life,

With such a lack of self-confidence…
