Skipping down the psycho-path…

I have no idea/clue what brought this on, I awoke with it in my head, so I wrote it...

Poem Artwork

Following self without seeing,

In charge of another being,

The one deep down inside,

Walking cause one cannot ride…

White fluff covering said path,

In bloody remnants taking a bath,

Uneven so we cannot do the math,

Less & less known of idiopathy…

Fear begets fear,

On the way down the path,

So we are as well austere,

Must clear off a psychotic veneer…

Alchy's been doin' that to me, lately. Maybe a bit too much of the bud?

Great poem, BTW.

Like it! Sometimes the best and deepest of our works are done either in our subconsciouness or that waking state when our minds are not clouded with the mundane problems of day to day living.

Ed, this is one of those 'etchings' only certain people can really 'see' no matter how often it is 'shown' or how many times the caged bird has flown.

I get most of my inspiration on the edge of waking/dreams. Truly thought-provoking, friend. Love and peace,

Far out, man, literally! Deep and stirring stuff, Ed. You have captured the mystery of this dream-moment vividly and with strong and forceful verses. Certainly gives pause for thought... self observing self is the stuff of philosophical heavyweights and can be the most scary thing of all! Travel lightly and safely. xx
